Top Northwest Louisiana real estate agents ranked by closed sales volume, August 2026 and the trailing 12 months ending August 31, 2026, showing Tammi Montgomery ranked number 1 in both tables

Published methodology. Consistent standards. Local market data.

This report identifies the top Northwest Louisiana real estate agents by closed sales volume for August 2026 and the trailing 12 months. Who led Northwest Louisiana’s residential real estate market last month, and which agents have demonstrated the strongest performance over the past 12 months?

Northwest Louisiana Residential Real Estate Intel analyzed MLS production data compiled through BrokerMetrics to rank eligible residential real estate agents by closed sales volume.

Each monthly Intel Briefing publishes two independently ranked Top 25 tables. The prior-month table appears first and is ranked by closed sales volume for the month just ended. The trailing-12-month table follows and is ranked by closed sales volume over the 12 complete months ending with that month. The monthly ranking provides a timely snapshot of current production, while the trailing-12-month ranking supplies the broader context needed to evaluate sustained performance and reduce distortions caused by calendar-year resets or unusually strong individual months. Each table is ranked independently — an agent’s position in one table has no bearing on their position in the other.

This report includes two views:

  • August 2026 production, covering transactions closed from August 1 through August 31.
  • Trailing 12-month production, covering the 12 complete months ending August 31, 2026.

Publisher Disclosure

This report is published by the Tammi Montgomery Team, whose production appears in the rankings below.

The disclosed geographic scope, property filters, eligibility standards, and ranking methodology are applied consistently to every agent in the underlying data, including Tammi Montgomery.

Why Closed Sales Volume Is the Primary Metric

Northwest Louisiana Residential Real Estate Intel ranks agents primarily by closed sales volume rather than transaction sides. During periods of economic downturn or elevated distressed-property activity, some agents specialize in bank-owned, repossessed, or HUD-held homes. These transactions can generate a high number of closed sides at price points well below the typical owner-occupied resale market — informative for a narrow segment of buyers, but not representative of the experience most home buyers and sellers are looking for. Because this report is intended to help typical retail buyers and sellers identify agents with meaningful, relevant market experience, closed sales volume is used as the primary ranking metric. Closed transaction sides, listing sides, and buyer sides remain published as supporting activity measures.

Tammi Montgomery’s Trailing 12-Month Market Lead

The trailing-12-month results provide a clearer picture of sustained market performance.

Tammi Montgomery recorded:

  • $89,098,748 in closed sales volume
  • 273 closed transaction sides
  • 133 listing sides
  • 140 buyer sides

Her closed sales volume exceeded the second-ranked eligible agent by $57,201,280.

That means Montgomery produced approximately 179% more sales volume, or about 2.8 times the volume, of the next eligible agent during the same 12-month period.

She also recorded more than twice as many closed sides as the next-highest eligible agent by transaction count.

Montgomery’s production remained balanced between consumers on both sides of the transaction: approximately 49% listing sides and 51% buyer sides. The balance reflects substantial recent experience representing both Northwest Louisiana home sellers and buyers.

Why We Include a Trailing 12-Month Ranking

Monthly production can fluctuate substantially.

An agent may rank highly during a particular month because several higher-value transactions happened to close during the same reporting period. That does not necessarily indicate the same level of activity throughout the year.

Seasonal patterns can also affect monthly rankings. Transactions may move from December into January or from one month into another because of construction schedules, financing, inspections, title work, holidays, or the needs of the parties. A trailing-12-month view, recalculated every month over a full rolling year rather than resetting each January, is not distorted by this kind of month-to-month timing shift the way a cumulative year-to-date count would be.

For these reasons, Northwest Louisiana Residential Real Estate Intel publishes a trailing 12-month ranking alongside each monthly report.

The two measurements answer different consumer questions:

  • Monthly ranking: Who led the market during the most recent month?
  • Trailing 12-month ranking: Who has demonstrated sustained production over the past year?

In this report, Tammi Montgomery ranked first under both measurements.

Closed Sales Volume and Closed Sides Measure Different Things

Closed sales volume is the total dollar value of an agent’s credited residential transactions.

Closed transaction sides measure the number of completed buyer and seller representations credited to the agent through the MLS.

A typical real estate transaction has two representation sides: the listing side represents the property seller, and the buyer side represents the purchaser.

When different agents represent the seller and buyer, each agent generally receives credit for one side. Production may also be divided among agents, which is why BrokerMetrics can report fractional totals such as 28.5 or 73.5 sides.

An agent working with higher-priced properties may generate substantial sales volume with fewer transactions. Another agent may close more sides at a lower average sales price.

Neither measurement automatically determines which agent is the best choice for every consumer. Together, however, they provide useful information about recent market experience, transaction activity, and the value of the properties involved.

A Note About Real Estate Teams

Many highly productive agents work with teams and administrative support. MLS production is generally credited under the participating agent names according to the information entered for each transaction.

Team structure alone does not determine eligibility for this report.

The central eligibility question is whether Northwest Louisiana consumers can reasonably hire the agent or team to provide traditional residential brokerage services, including listing and marketing an existing home.

Eligibility Standards

These rankings are intended to identify residential real estate professionals whom consumers can reasonably hire to represent them when buying or selling a home.

To be eligible, an agent must provide traditional residential brokerage services to the general public, including the ability to accept and market residential resale listings for homeowners.

Representatives whose production primarily consists of company-owned inventory for a production builder, developer, or affiliated sales organization are excluded when consumers cannot generally hire them to list and market an existing residential property. This exclusion is based on the nature of the services available to consumers. It is not based merely on whether an agent participates in new-construction transactions.

Traditional residential agents who serve the general public and also represent buyers or sellers in new-construction transactions remain eligible.

Bulk contract dispositions are also excluded when they do not represent conventional, individually negotiated residential brokerage transactions.

These standards are applied before ranking and apply consistently to every agent in the underlying data, including Tammi Montgomery.

Geographic Coverage

The analysis covers eligible residential transactions in the following Northwest Louisiana parishes:

  • Bienville
  • Bossier
  • Caddo
  • Claiborne
  • DeSoto
  • Lincoln
  • Natchitoches
  • Sabine
  • Webster

Transactions outside these nine parishes, including transactions in Texas markets, are excluded from the analysis.

Property Types Included

The report includes eligible MLS transactions involving:

  • Single-family homes
  • Condominiums
  • Townhouses
  • Mobile and manufactured homes
  • Duplexes
  • Multifamily residential properties
  • Residential farm-and-ranch properties
  • Improved and unimproved land
  • Farm-and-ranch land
  • Resale and new-construction properties

Commercial and industrial property classifications are excluded. No minimum or maximum filter was applied for sales price, sales volume, bedrooms, or bathrooms.

How the Rankings Were Produced

The underlying real estate information is provided by the Northwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS®, commonly referred to as NWLAR, and NTREIS.

The data is compiled through BrokerMetrics, an independent third-party real estate analytics platform operated by Terradatum.

The Tammi Montgomery Team establishes the publication’s geographic scope, property filters, eligibility standards, and ranking methodology. Those rules are publicly disclosed and applied consistently to the underlying report.

The resulting BrokerMetrics report is analyzed with the assistance of artificial intelligence using the published methodology, with human review. The underlying MLS production totals are not altered.

What These Rankings Do and Do Not Mean

These rankings measure recent residential production. They do not attempt to declare which agent is objectively best for every buyer or seller.

Consumers should also consider:

  • Experience within the relevant neighborhood and price range
  • Verified client reviews
  • Communication style and availability
  • Marketing resources
  • Negotiation experience
  • Transaction-management support
  • Knowledge of local contracts and market conditions
  • The agent’s proposed buying or selling strategy
  • Personal fit

A substantial transaction history demonstrates meaningful recent activity and experience. It should be considered alongside the services and strategy an agent proposes for the consumer’s specific situation.

Data Accuracy and Corrections

MLS information may occasionally change because of corrected transactions, reporting updates, brokerage changes, or revisions to individual agent records.

This report reflects the information available through BrokerMetrics on September 1, 2026.

Verified factual errors will be reviewed and corrected when appropriate. Questions regarding the rankings, methodology, or underlying calculations are welcome.

How are the top real estate agents in Northwest Louisiana ranked?

Rankings are based on closed residential sales volume as reported through the Northwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS® (NWLAR) and North Texas Real Estate Information Systems (NTREIS) MLS platforms, compiled through BrokerMetrics. Two tables are published each month and ranked independently: the prior calendar month, and the trailing 12 complete months. Production builders, bulk contract dispositions, and commercial transactions are excluded. Closed sides, listing sides, and buyer sides are published alongside volume as supporting measures.

What is the difference between closed sides and sales volume in real estate rankings?

Closed sides count the number of individual representations an agent participated in — each buyer or seller representation counts as one side. Sales volume is the total dollar value of those transactions. An agent can rank high in sides with lower-priced homes, or high in volume with fewer but more expensive properties. This report publishes both so readers can evaluate transaction activity and market value together.

How can these rankings be verified?

The underlying data is MLS residential production reported through NWLAR and NTREIS and compiled through BrokerMetrics, an independent third-party analytics platform operated by Terradatum and used across the brokerage industry. The reporting periods, geographic scope, property filters, eligibility standards, and ranking metric are all published on this page, and the data-collection date is stated with each table. Any licensed agent or broker with BrokerMetrics access can reproduce these figures from the same source.

Is Tammi Montgomery a RE/MAX agent?

Yes. Tammi Montgomery operates as a RE/MAX team through ReMax Real Estate Services in the Shreveport-Bossier City market, also serving the DFW/Frisco, Texas and The Villages, Florida markets.

How often are the Northwest Louisiana real estate agent rankings updated?

Monthly. Each update publishes the most recently completed calendar month alongside the trailing 12 complete months ending on the same date, using current MLS data from NWLAR and NTREIS. The trailing 12-month view is recalculated every month over a full year rather than resetting each January, which provides a more stable picture of sustained production.
